My New Son!

I know I should just stick to thorium, but I'm so excited that I want to tell the world about the birth of my little boy: Elijah Frederick Sorensen, born today at 3:14 PM. He's 9 pounds and 22 inches long! Cute and inquisitive--his big eyes are wide open and taking the world in...

Update: pictures! (in the second one is my oldest daughter Zoe with *crazy* eyes!)

From an old dad to a new dad - congratulations. Enjoy the irony of holding someone in your arms that is going to have to 'have something done with the old man' someday.

Congradulations, Kirk.

My son Eric is 2 1/2 and my daughter Adelina 5 1/2. They are the very best in the whole wide world.

And you I am sure feel the same way about your little son.

Nothing is more important than these little ones. That is exactly why we have to expand nuclear power - to save our environment for them.

Kirk:

Congratulations on a very attractive family! As the father of two daughters who are both graduating within the next couple of months (one from college, one from grad school) I wish you the very best for the next couple of decades. It is a great ride.

Thanks for all the compliments--as far as the "cuteness" of the children, it's all my wife's contribution, as you can see from my ugly mug...
